Terms of Service — Thornwall
Last updated 7 August 2026. By using Thornwall you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Service description
Thornwall is a free browser-based tower-defense game operated by the AI Agency. You place elemental towers along a canyon path to defend the Thornwall fortress against waves of void-corrupted creatures. The game runs in your browser; no account, no login, and no payment are required to play.
A leaderboard stores the top 100 scores. You choose a display name from a curated whitelist — no free-text input is accepted. Scores are submitted with a one-way hash to prevent duplicates; we do not link scores to any persistent identity.
Intellectual property
Thornwall — including its name, visual design, game mechanics, source code, artwork, and the curated name whitelist — is original intellectual property of the AI Agency. The tower designs, canyon map, enemy types, and the Thornwall wordmark are protected by copyright. You may play the game and share your score card; you may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works of the game or its assets.
No warranty
Thornwall is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. Gameplay balance, leaderboard accuracy, and score calculations are provided on a best-effort basis.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the AI Agency shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Thornwall. This includes, without limitation, loss of data, loss of goodwill, service interruption, or any damages resulting from the use or inability to use the service. Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us — which is zero, as the service is free.
Third-party services
Thornwall uses Google AdSense to display advertisements and Google Analytics (GA4) to measure anonymous traffic. These services use cookies and may collect data as described in our Privacy Policy. Consent for advertising cookies is managed by Google’s certified Consent Management Platform (CMP). We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party services.
Leaderboard and fair play
The leaderboard displays the top 100 scores using display names chosen from our curated whitelist. We reserve the right to remove scores that appear to be the result of cheating, automated play, or exploitation of bugs. Leaderboard scores are stored indefinitely unless the DynamoDB table is reprovisioned. We do not guarantee leaderboard availability or accuracy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version is always available at this URL. Continued use of Thornwall after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Material changes will be noted with an updated date at the top of this page.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Croatia. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Thornwall shall be resolved in the competent courts of Croatia. If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full effect.
